Unhappy Shirt Color Showing Thru White Areas of Design

Having a little problem with the white areas (255, 255, 255) of my design showing up as a partial transparency in the lighter shirt colors.

SPECS:
* Designed in Photoshop
* Layers are 100% Opacity and Fill
* Saved as .png
* Saved as transparency

As I said, in darker colored t-shirts, the design looks great.
However, in the lighter varieties, the color of the shirt shows thru the white areas of the design.
Anyone have any ideas?

The problem is that printfection does not print a white overlay (sometimes called a flash) for light colors, only darks. What I have been told is that the image that you see after you upload your design is pretty accurate to what it will look like after it is printed so it is best to check that first and best to not print items with a lot of white on light colors. It is somewhat inconvenient and makes me question why anyone would sell shirts on light colors but I have found that it's not really a problem on certain designs. If you want to see a couple of my designs that use a light background but still look good check out my link. Otherwise, I would recommend you just double check the uploader and limit the selection of colors. I definitely think Printfection needs to address this issue though.

If you are using Photoshop, create a layer with the shirt color and move it below your image, then set the image layer(s) to Multiply. [I think it's Multiply, it's late and I'm tired.] You will see the effect the shirt color has on the image.

Sometimes you will decide it's beyond ugly. Other times, it's not so bad.

And remember, there really are customers who don't mind what our trained eyes think is horrible. I've sold some amazingly ugly combinations.
