Color matching the T's

I like the shirts for girls that have the pink or baby blue sleeves.
I'm trying to match my design color with the Tee, but not quite getting the color. Is there any way to put an allert on the design that states to the printer to use exact color as on the T-shirt?

We're unable to tell the printer to match the sleeve colors exactly. The actual garments are dyed before they arrive at our production facility and have no correlation to our printing process. I will see if it's possible to get a list of RGB color values that closely match the sleeve colors. If I do find such a list I'll post it in this thread.

Hi Casey - just wondering if you've been able to find RGB color values to match the shirt colors? I recently stumbled on to your site and it looks great! Just want to make sure the colors in my designs coordinate with the shirt colors. Thanks!

We haven't had the time (yet) to actually print out sample color pallets and compare them to the sleeve colors, but I do have PMS colors provided by the manufacturer of the Women's fitted garments (Bella).

Here are the PMS colors of the sleeves for the Bella garments (Women's Fitted styles):

Baby Blue.......... 277C
Pink................. 1895C
Red.................. 187C
Navy................ 2767C
Gold................. 136C
Kelly Green........ 342C
Chocolate.......... Black 5C


For the Anvil products (Men's Ringer, Men's Baseball T) use these PMS matches:

Royal Blue ...... 661C
Navy............. 2767C
Kelly Green...... 341C
Red............... 200C




I hope this helps! Sometime in the future we do plan on actually printing test charts and trying to match them to the sleeves, however with the variations in the garment dying from batch to batch, we cannot guarantee that the printed design will always match the sleeve colors (but it should come close and still look great!).

Thanks for the info Casey! Can I assume the baby blue and pink colors you list below are the same colors on the women's fitted tank top and fitted baby rib tee? And would you also be able to get the colors for the regular t-shirts and women's t-shirts (non-fitted)? That would be a great help! Thanks again for the quick response.

Can I assume the baby blue and pink colors you list below are the same colors on the women's fitted tank top and fitted baby rib tee? Yes, the colors within a manufacturer are the same. All of our "women's fitted" products are manufactured by the same company.

And would you also be able to get the colors for the regular t-shirts and women's t-shirts (non-fitted)? Since we've been asked for the colors numerous times I'm going to put together a knowledge base article with all of the manufacturer supplied colors for all of our products. I'll post a follow-up reply with the link as soon as this is completed. It may take a little while to compile all of this information into one document.... so thanks for your patience in advance!
