Became a fan and already have a biz page for my PF store.

I'm not a huge fan of Facebook, but I think it could be a good marketing tool. You gotta go to the people and they all seem to be on facebook.....lol

For a few other face book marketing ideas check out my blog (http://www.krazycanadianblog.com/2007/11/marketing-on-facebook.html). There are a couple of ideas there that might work for someone.

Dont mind me. Im just hoplessly paladin. As an old internet admin (from the very beginning in fact) I dislike seo tactics "for us" that go against the desires of the host site. Things that violate terms of service.

I know that you guys are pushing hard to make your sites profitable.

In fact - Facebook has special features for "business" advertising:
quoting from their help pages:
Facebook Pages
A musical artist, business, or brand can create Facebook Pages to share information, interact with their fans, and create a highly engaging presence plugged into Facebook’s social graph. These Pages are distinct presences, separate from users’ profiles, and optimized for these entities’ needs to communicate, distribute information/content, engage their fans, and capture new audiences virally through their fans’ recommendations to their friends. Facebook Pages are designed to be a media rich, valuable presence solution for any artist, business, or brand that can be integrated seamlessly into the user experience with socially-relevant applications.

So nothing is against what they would want ...

Thats true of the PrintFection page, and any shops which have setup a buisness page on Facebook.

But the comment still applies for shops which created a regular user account in their shop name. IN fact, even more so now that Facebook supports a way to properly create a buisness account. For those, the standard ToS statement of "the Service and the Site are available for your personal, non-commercial use only" still applies.

On the fans already connected to PrintFections page I see examples of both. Excellent uses of FaceBook for what its meant for, and SEO tactic pages.

But FaceBook is not one of the systems I presently NetCop so Im just a toothless grrrrrr.

Well - I set up both. I have a profile - which is non-commercial, and set up a "page" for my T-Shirt Total. I connect the stuff I have in there to my profile by being a fan of my own page, and adding the photo galleries of my shirts like I would any other site outside of Facebook. With my limited possibilities of driving traffic to my shops I have to try all avenues ...
