Adobe PS Ellements ?

Help!

I only use PS ellements when wanting to convert an existing image to a transparent for dark shirts (haven't really explored it any further than that.)

Yesterday when I went to do that I found that it's adding a shadow to everything. You know, like the image is floating above the page. I must have accidently checked a box somewhere but for the life of me I can't find out how to get rid of it.

What do I do?
