Interesting link, thanks or posting. I have personally never sold a kids product, as it is not really my market. I have a 5 year old who has zero interest in picking her own clothes, too busy running around, playing football and reading books. Her Mum does all the shopping and tends to buy things based on her taste. Mind you, the favourite color has been orange since she was born, and I don't see that changing soon, regardless of what the style gurus tell us.

Cheers

Oh.....

My dear, dear Gavin....

YOu are in for a rude awakening. I am sniffing and sadly chuckling at your naivete
... 5 is nothing!!!!!

With my son it was 11 when he started combing his hair, and making sure his clothes matched and his shoes were trendy enough etc...

With girls... its WWWAAAAYYYY sooner. I think by 8... you're gonna have a whole new girl on your hands.

Duck and cover NOW.

Steph,

No doubt you are correct, and I do treasure every moment of still being a "cool" Dad.
Right now, its like having a best friend to watch the football with who doesn't steal my beer.

Enjoy it while you can .....
(our son is 36 and has a nine-month old, and as a grandma IŽm waiting for payback day, when little Liam does all the things that he did - and when heŽll sit and think at maybe mom and dad where right back then after all :D )
