Hi all,

Was looking at MySpace Classified and there's a section called "For sale" where people put up links to the items they wanna sell.
I saw some Zazzle and CP links as well, but anyone here who has tried it?

Do you receive lots of hits and increased sales etc.?

Thanks!
Xeon.

I haven't tried it yet, but dont think of it as a matter of getting alot of hits from one paticular site. If one site sent you only 50 hits, and 20 others sent you the same amount, that amount adds up. For me, it helps to create a list of traffic avenues and submit to them all.

Don't put all of you eggs in one basket.

Hi all,

Just a question for those who have posted your shops' links in MySpace Classifieds and Craigslist.
It seems that MySpace Classifieds and Craigslist are categorised into geographical areas, like Los Angeles Classifieds or the SF Bay Area section in Craigslist.

Do you guys post in every single geographical section? I'm afraid of getting flamed and banned if I do that.

Thanks! :)
Xeon.

Hi, I don't have any experience with Myspace, but I have done craigslist, and there are some pointers that you can use in another thread.

Go into General Discussion, it's in the "not making my goal" thread by moonduster.

You'll be able to see some tips to get your craigslist AD to stand out, without posting too many times or getting flagged. Craigslist can be effective if you know who your customer is, where they are, and what to say to get them to read your Ad.

Check it out, and Good Luck with it.

I posted my first CraigsList ad earlier this week.

Since my stuff appeals to those who attend science fiction conventions, I posted my ad in a city that is having a con in a few weeks. People look for interesting shirts to wear to cons, maybe they'll want mine.

Xeon, you might want to look at locations of anime cons and comic conventions. Patriotic Tees would hit cities where there are big fireworks displays.

This is part of figuring out who your customer base is.

BTW Xeon, if your store is open, couls you post the URL so we can take a look?
