Recent Searches Questions

Ok..... I'm adding several new designs and ramping up muh SEO, advertising, and such before the holiday rush..... I have been scoping out my competition in the marketplace and have a question or two......

I see a little section on the side of the marketplace that says Recent Searches...... all of the search results that I am seeing are only the ones that I have done..... uhm.... does that mean that the marketplace here is getting so little traffic that the only searches being done is by me or is it that way for everyone?

Also, there is a number beside each search term.... I'm assuming that's how many times that someone has searched the marketplace for that particular keyword..... but since when..... since the dawn of time, the beginning of Printfection, last month, yesterday? The answer to this question greatly effects my targetting techniques, so I really, really need an accurate answer for this one.

It´s like that for me, too - and the number I think is the amount of designs found in the MP with that search word :)

Yes, it appears to be a personal search, not global. Guess it should say YOUR recent searches ;).

Ok... thanks... that solves the mystery of the searches actually being my own......


And aha.... After more investigation and testing a few theories, I FINALLY figured out that the number actually means the number of PRODUCTS (not designs) available for that search term.... drats..... I was hoping to see how many customers were searching for a particular keyword..... ah well......
