Anyone here advertise on craigs list?
Over the week end I put a few ads on there in different cities but have only seen one visitor.
I put the ad in Clothing and Accessories added a description and photo of one of my shirts. I'm wondering if there's a better category? Should I have posted in the business section instead?
I've read at the other place that some people get quite a lot of traffic from there.

I have posted on Craigs List a few times. I can't say I received alot of hits but I did get a few. I did better in some cities than others and I believe this will always be the case. I think the key is to put up a catchy title. Something better than "T-shirts for sale." I am sure you did much better than that! But, it will get noticed if it sparks an interest. I think, too, this is a slow time as most people are out-and-about for the summer time(in the States, anyway)
I always put up images, I believe four was the limit. I think this has to help.
I posted in the same category as you.
I am not sure how anyone would get numerous visitors from Craigs List, but, the price it right and it can't hurt.:)
Best.

I have used Craiglist before with limited success in terms of visitors from the ad.
I did notice a big jump in placement with google for my keywords. The Craigslist ads are big with google. I would recommend them for this if nothing else.

I've tried my hand at craigslist, also with very limited success . I get about 1 or 2 new visitors from the cities i've posted ads in. Like it was said its free and it doesnt hurt. I got more results when i used less words in my ads then when i tried being more discriptive, lol its something to think about.
