Hello,
I'm new to Printfection but I am eager to become a part of the growing community here. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice or quick "pointers" to getting everything running smoothly.

I am Kevin, otherwise known as Captain B. Slice. We have an excellent group of friends who have come together to create our technical and creative teams. Each are working hard to put together a truely unique site and feel.

We appreciate any feedback, comments, or ideas that you may have. If there is anything we can do to help, let us know.

I like the title and colour scheme of your shop (www.happymacaroni.com) (http://www.happymacaroni.com/)
and enjoy the light-hearted tone, but I feel the front page is too word dense. I'd suggest you cut back heavily on the text. Rather than tell people how great your gear is, show them. Get as many new designs up there as you can.

You don't need to list all of the products on the front page.

These are just a couple of thoughts that sprang to mind when I had a quick look at your site. I'm sure others here will give constructive feedback as well.

All the best!;)

I must agree with Donna - as the attention span of visitors is very short, and pictures say more than a thousand words. If you want to add a lot of text for SEO purposes, add it to the bottom of the page, and have a product thumbs or pics of your designs "above the fold". Online buyers are very visual people!

Apart from that I like your designs, and wish you the best of luck.

Thank you both. I think your right on both counts. They say perfection is when you can take nothing else away. Shouldn't be a problem to make it less wordy, add a few more pics and still keep up my keyword count.

I can always add the keywords to the img tags and maybe post a few unseen comments and move some text further down the page.

Excellent!

You have an ok site, but you just have way too much text for an apparel shop. I concur, images speak louder than words in this industry. So here are my tips:

1.) Get rid of the frames, and list your categories are the right-hand side.
2.) Promoting your categories isn't necessary "That's right, we offer these fantastic products...". A simple "Apparel Categories" or "Men's Apparel" will do.
3.) If I'm wrong, forgive me for saying this. But I believe the text on the right-hand side was copied from a bottle of Vitamin Water. Which is a big no-no, create your own.

(this is meant for the main site www.happymacaroni.com)

I don't beleive I've commited any act of copyright infringment. The idea came from creative dept. What bottle of water would this have come from? I would like to check this out. This would be a serious violation of Happy Mac's Policies. I appreciate your input and will investigate immediately. If it appears as though this material came from a water bottle as you say, it will be taken down immediately.

P.S. Working on reducing text and increasing images. waiting on new designs from creative dept. :P
