I am new to the world of POD T-shirts but have been running a gift webshop in the UK for a couple of years. I rely heavily on Google Adwords to draw in visitors to sell some of my products. However, I feel this is not an option for my Printfection shop as the commission I earn from selling a POD T-shirt is much lower than the profit I get from selling something on my own webshop. One of the reasons I chose Printfection over Cafepress was because due to less competition my products will appear higher on Printfection’s own search result. But so far – I’ve been live for about a week - I don’t seem to have had any visitors coming in this way. Does Printfection use Google Adwords for generic terms such as “Japanese T-shirts” that then link into their own search results? I notice that Spreadshirt and Shirtcity are doing this in the UK. I can’t see Printfection on the sponsored links in the UK but perhaps they appear in the US.

Keep in mind at PF you can set your own mark-up ... so if you think you can sell a high commission, use one!

I'm no marketing expert -- more of a complete newbie -- but there has been some talk about Adwords lately on the forum. PF is growing, and they don't want to get swamped with visitors (and orders) before their systems can handle the load. They've said their own advertising will increase once the infrastructure can handle the traffic.
