Duplicate products

I just discovered by chance (and thank goodness) that so far 6 of my designs in Urban Retro (http://www.printfection.com/urbanretro)added duplicate products. I clicked on all the white and light colored shirts. The duplicate products don't have the discriptions, product name and worst of all the price mark up. The worst design has over 350 items in it!! I think it added the duplicates 3 times. These items were for customers to see. I just found them because someone at work asked why they were cheaper. To my horror, I discovered this glitch. I now have to spend hours deleting all the duplicates. What's going on here. I'll have to go through all my stores and make sure it didn't happen to any other designs. I went through and made them hidden for now until I can get to them.

It was taking so long to delete the duplicates that I ended up dumping them and doing them again.

OK, this is just getting rediculous. I've had to redo a design 3 times now and it still adds duplicates of everything. These duplicates don't have any of the information, title or price mark up. What gives with this?? I can't spend this much time just removing the duplicates everytime I load in a new design.

Check all your code - HTML and CSS - carefully after you've hit the save button. Look for more than once instance of the ##content## tag. Just a thought. :)

I have had this happen to me to.... no idea why...I just trudged through it all deleting item after item.....it's pretty scary when you think of these items priced at no profit....

Well, I think I know what's happening. I was working on a VERY slow computer and when I clicked on Continue to Step 3, nothing happened. At least it seemed like nothing happened, so I clicked it again thinking that I didn't click it right the first time. In fact I did click it right and clicking it again just added the whole set of products again only I can't see them when I put all the info in step 3. I am moving all my stamp designs out of Urban Retro into a new store. This time I'm very careful about clicking the 3rd button and just waiting. So far it hasn't happened again.

This could be a place where we need a safety measure. Once the button is clicked, you can't click it again.

ahhhh...I believe I have done this too.....
maybe just a warnng, like 'do not click more than once' would help..I have seen such warnings on other sites....

I had never run into this, but, I sure went back and checked my stores!

That is a reasonable explanation and I have been guilty of trying to make the connection HURRY at other times. Would be easy to do.

This could be a place where we need a safety measure. Once the button is clicked, you can't click it again. I have made a note of this and we'll see what we can do. We do a similar thing in the checkout process when you click 'place my order'. The button is grayed out and it says Processing... until the order is completed.
