Is anyone using conversion goals with Google Analytics? Is it even possible, meaning is there a thank you url or the like that can be used to track a sale?
Thanks!
Steve

I'm just tracking how many people go to the shopping cart page. If they have gotten that far, chances are that they will complete the purchase.
Now, if only they had a blocking cookie so my data wouldn't include my visits, I'd be happy. I know I can block me entire house, but I want to see my DH and kids' visits.

Bear - thanks for responding!
Sounds like you're doing what I'm talking about. What url are you using for the shopping cart page?

I'm using
https://www. printfection. com/ cartesianbear ?store_page= cart
Take out the spaces and use your store's name where "cartesianbear" is.
I got this page by navigating to it, copying the URL from my browser and pasting it into the Conversion goals section.
Now, back to looking at my Analytics page -- I've gotten a lot more traffic recently, and i'm trying to figure out where it came from, and what I should do to turn it into sales.
