View Full Version : Changing color after adding product

I have tried to change the available color for t-shirts. I get a pop up where I can check or uncheck the desired colors. When I try to "save", it either doesn't work at all, or if I get "error on page", then it works.

Is there a work around?

I use XP and IE 7.

I will forward this off to Kevin, there could be a problem with IE7 and the AJAX/ javascript on that button... we are still testing the 'my account' area in IE7 as microsoft doesn't like to play by the rules :)

If you refresh the page BEFORE you try to change the colors, before you even open that change colors box...

Then open it up..when you check and uncheck your boxes and save... it will work.

It comes and goes for me. But I have always been able to get it to work with a few refresh tries.

Hope it works for you.. try it! I am on IE also...

As a matter of interest, I WAS using IE7 & at first everything seemed fine. Then I started to HAVE to use the "refresh" button on more & more occasions.
It was suggested to me that I should use Firefox & I must admit since downloading & using Firefox2 I'm not having any of those problems.
The only problem I have now is how long it can take(sometimes) to make a product but, that I guess is purely down to the PF infrastructor which, we all know, is currently under going an upgrade.

As for PF's product designer, considering its use is free I think it's great! Certainly better than CP's free one that's for sure. Which reminds me.......
When the new PD comes available will it have the function to enlarge/decrease the designs size as accurately as we are currently able to position the design? If possible I think this feature would benefit everyone.

N.B. I hope Kevin & Casey are coping with all our suggestions, because we are a demanding bunch. lol :)

Keep up the good work you two, your doing us proud!

When in doubt please use FireFox, it works much better than IE overall, but keep reporting the IE problems to us so we can fix them.
