I am not sure if the problem is within PF or Statcounter. Every time I go into my HTML editor and then back to the store, I have another statcounter showing up. 6 trips into html editor, 6 counters.
I have removed the statcounter code, then, re-installed. Same results.
Does anyone know what I need to be doing? HELP!!

That used to happen to me all the time until I figured out what was happening. For some reason the PF editor doubles up on those counter scripts and sometimes it even happens to the CSS tags. At one point I had 5 or 6 counters on every page. The only way I've found to get around it is when I go into the HTML editor I make sure I delete everything there and then do a copy&paste from scratch with the fresh code. Hopefully the new changes in the editor later on this year will have fixed this. :)

This is weird. I have had the counter installed for months with no problems. Just now started acting up.
I will have to do as you suggest for now. Thanks bunches.

I was having problems with the code too. The statcounter code had two parts. I deleted the bottom part. As far as I can tell it is working fine.

I will try that. Even when I paste the new code in, it still doubles after I go back into my store. Weird.
Thanks.

This "doubling" has always happened to me as well. I dont' see any double counts happening from it.
It is just annoying - that is all I can see. I always delete the "extras" when I edit.

It's a known problem that the WYSIWYG editor messes with javascript. We plan on adding basic textareas as an option to use instead of the WYSIWYG editor. Until then I'd suggest making sure each open <script> tag has a closing </script> tag, no more no less, as that has occasionally been the problem.
