Option to save HTML disappears

Okay, I have successfully (within my extremely limited ability) "customized" two stores (the ones in my sig). But now when I try to work on new ones, once I open up the HTML editor, everything above it - all the menu stuff and pulldown menus at the top (with the blue background) disappear completely, so there is no way to save anything done while in the HTML mode. This happens right away, even before I've actually added or changed anything. It used to remain visible and accessible, or I'd never have been able to do what I did with the first two shops. I would edit the HTML, and then go to the pulldown menu to choose "Save all". I don't get it... what could have happened? I've tried it several times, rebooted, cleared the cache, and all that stuff.

I've found that after adding my custom HTML, I have to go back into EDIT mode and then I can save from there. A little clunky, sure, but it seems to work!

Glad to hear that worked for you! I'm sure the next release of the storebuilder will be much improved and this little quirk will no longer be an issue.
