I have been having internet issues all morning so I suspect it may just be me. Does anyone else see broken product thumbnails on this page:

TIA

Ryann, I am seeing broken links. BUT, I see them in my store and most others that I have been to today. I thought it was just my internet connection, but now, I am not sure. (correction: problems in EVERY store I have visited)
Is it just me? I am using IE at the moment, I will switch to FireFox and check.

Darrell,
I looked through your entire store and didn't see any broken images. If anybody notices a broken image on a page please copy the URL of the page so we can look into it. Thanks!

I noticed a few broken thumbnails last night while at home, but not at all now while I am at the office.

I'm using FF and seeing no broken images at all. Everyone's store seems to be intact and working well. :)

I am pretty sure its our cable modem - my significant other wouldn't allow our cable company to exchange it a few years ago when they switched to a new model becuase the one we had was working 'perfectly fine' at the time - but I think its days are almost done now.

New store owner here :) & I've been having trouble getting the thumbnails to show. I think it's an IE problem, which is a worry since the majority of surfers still use IE.

Sheila,
Just looked through your store and saw every image in IE without a problem. That being said, as several people have noticed this issue we are still looking into it and will try to find the root cause ASAP.

Thanks Kevin :)
It's weird that I keep getting broken images - & annoying, since I'm otherwise having a lot of fun building my store! I wonder if it's my ISP playing up.......

I can see your thumbnails and they look wonderful! But then I'm just a bit biased with those wonderful dogs. 'Bout time you got in here! :p I love your store.

I just wanted to add some notes if it helps you at all:
I still have x's appearing when viewing my shops with my home internet connnection.
If an image shows as an X, and I right click it and grab the image path and paste it into a new browser I can see it just fine.
After I do that, if I refresh my original store browser window, that image which I viewed seperately now appears. And in firefox, all the images load without a problem.
So the images are being created, but my IE isn't downloading/displaying them properly.

Thanks for the info Ryann,
In IE can you look in Tools -> Internet Options -> Settings (under Temporary Internet files) and let me know what options are set?

This is the problem I have been having. Not just my store, but, all stores that I have visited. Some of the product images load, some do not. I am only having this problem on PF and only with IE. Firefox works fine.
I have been in contact with Kevin & Casey, both, are checking into the problem, but, having trouble re-creating the issue. Everything looks fine when they visit. Hopefully, they can find something. I checked my stats and approx. 90% of my visitors are using IE in some form. I have no idea what they are seeing.

Thanks for everyone's help! I can grab the image too Ryann, but what worries me is that the majority of shoppers will just pass by, thinking my store was badly designed :o Of course IE has always 'done its own thing' but this seems way OTT.
Hey SassyBites :D I knew you'd enjoy the puppies - & it's great to meet an old friend in here :)

My settings were also set to Automatically. I've tried clearing my cache, deleting my internet files etc all with the same result. I was thinking it might have something to do with the image conversion utility that creates the thumbnails? I don't know too much on the subject but are these images true jpegs, or just pngs with altered metadata? It could be that IE has a hard time reading them because of that?

Thanks to everybody today, the problem has been fixed!
I have to say I really appreciate the help and support I got from everybody today. Not once was I able to reproduce this problem but was able to fix it from the information I received through the forums, PMs and emails. I have to say I was really amazed at the willingness of everybody to pitch in and do what they could to get this problem resolved!
